Business reporting mandate delayed, limited to foreign entities

The U.S. Department of the Treasury will not enforce the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) against domestic businesses, including entities created to hold ownership of aircraft, while the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), an agency of the Treasury, announced an extension of the current reporting deadline.

GE Catalyst engine certified

GE Aerospace said its Catalyst turboprop engine received FAA certification following a validation program that included more than 190 component tests on more than 23 engines. For its first commercial use, the Catalyst is slated to power the Beechcraft Denali turbine single, which Textron Aviation expects to earn certification in 2025.

California judge appears reluctant to force unleaded fuel

The acquisitions reflect an expected increase in demand for new professional pilots to restore the ranks as losses to mandatory retirement peak over the next several years, the company said.
